I believe that the charge of “Racism!” is a delicate weapon. Use it carelessly and it loses its power. Use it unjustly and it disappears when someone actually needs it. Use it when it doesn’t apply and it disrespects the people who have battled real racism–discrimination, segregation, slavery.
